"One of the greatest feelings in life is the conviction that you have
lived the life you wanted to live--with the rough and the smooth, the good and
the bad--but yours, shaped by your own choices, and not someone else's."

Monday Memories

One day last summer, when Faith Anne and I were at Momma and Daddy's for the weekend, we heard an ice cream truck go by.  And we ran outside and Momma and I jumped up and down and yelled and screamed like little kids until the ice cream truck came back.  (And I think Daddy may have yelled and screamed some too.)  Then we realized that none of us had any cash.  So we did what any good parent would allow their children to do (even if they are grown :)).  We raided Momma and Daddy's "Romantic Getaway" Piggy.  This is a picture of the aftermath.  Poor Piggy.
As I recall though....we had a great time eating our ice cream and talking to the really nice ice cream lady who patiently waited while we raided the piggy bank.
(Hopefully it didn't cause too much of a delay in the next romantic getaway....)

Wishing you an unexpected treat and parents as cool as mine~
